Hailsham Town win the Intermediate Challenge Cup

Congratulations to Hailsham Town who lifted their first trophy since the 2005-06 season when they defeated Hawkhurst United 4-1 in the final of the Hastings F A Intermediate Cup at the Pilot Field yesterday evening.
Josh Silva-Carvalho put Hailsham ahead in the 14th minute with Matt Fear doubling the lead on 28 minutes. Jack Hobden made it 3-0 five minutes later with Henry Thompson putting Hailsham 4-0 up four minutes into the second half.
All credit to Hawkhurst United who did not give up, creating several chances before pulling a goal back after 74 minutes.
