Watford FC Ladies Partner With ILG Elite Sports App

Watford FC Ladies partner with ILG using the Elite Sports App

Watford FC Ladies are pleased to have partnered with ILG Business LTD, which will see the club - who will play in the FA Women’s National League South next season - use the ILG Elite Sports App from the start of the 2018/19 campaign.

The app will centralise all operation, making life easy for staff and players with features such as: analysis, match information, calendar syncing, availability, player health & wellbeing, player injury status, match footage, and one-to-one and group conversations.

ILG Business Ltd is a B2B technology provider, bringing new digital and mobile products to market. ILG has developed the ILG Elite Sports App for many National and International sports teams. This is for those who want to be at the forefront of performance analysis, and communications technology. The ILG Elite Sports App is a secure and easy way for coaches to improve performance with their athletes, on a platform that also has many unique and innovative features.

The ILG Elite Sports App has a feature called the ILG Hub. This is where Watford FC Ladies will hold all their match footage and documents in a controlled and secure area. Folders and files can be permissioned, allowing certain users to access specific areas of the ILG Hub. Files can also be downloaded locally to the app, and viewed whilst the device is offline.

The club have also opted in to use the Pro Review feature. Match analysis can be created through the drawing tool, highlighting specific areas for improvement. Other features within the Pro Review are: import codes, playlists, highlights, and the ability to download videos, and record sound.

Squad status will allow coaches and staff to monitor availability for training and matches at any given time. The squad status board carries the most up to date information on the team, allowing medical staff to also keep an up-to-date record on injured players.

Watford FC Ladies General Manager, Ed Henderson, added: “We are really looking forward to using the ILG Elite Sports App next season. This will streamline the whole experience for both players and staff at the club. We are always looking at ways to improve, and we feel this will maximise performance both on and off the pitch.”
