New Watford Ladies Development Team Assistant-Manager Appointed...
WATFORD Ladies are delighted to welcome Sarah Lewis to the club as Development Team assistant-manager, working alongside manager Clinton Lancaster.
The UEFA-B licence coach comes with a vast range of qualifications, including her youth-modules one, two and three and the level two goalkeeper badge.
Her career in women's football began at a very young age with Watford Ladies, as she represented the Hertfordshire County side, before moving away from playing to standing on the sidelines.
It didn't take long to qualify, and gain her badges, allowing Sarah to spend four years with Arsenal Ladies FC within the Centre of Excellence as a head-coach.
She's coached and managed several grassroots sides in both youth and adult football, and is currently involved with the 16-19 year old boys as part of the Watford FC Trust scheme.
Sarah was delighted to join the set-up at Watford Ladies, as she said: "I am so pleased to be back and working within the club that first gave me the opportunity to step into the women's game.
"Working with WSL players is a privilege, and the Development and First-Team squads have some very talented players and hugely experienced coaching staff, which makes for exciting times ahead."
